Antigua Guatemala Wedding
Antigua Guatemala Wedding.
Pam and Waylon spent some time together volunteering in Antigua, being immersed with the culture and people they knew that this was where they should celebrate their special day. Their journey started 8 years ago taking them from one coast to another and even serving their country. As they continue fight for peace and justice for women and underserved communities in their current careers, it was undeniable that day just how much they've touched and inspired others along the way. They are literally changing the world!
Their wedding day was just how every wedding day should be: the culmination of love and dear ones.
They decided to do a simultaneous first look and share notes they had written to each other. This was just one of the many emotional moments of the day.
With their friend Chris acting as their officiant, they committed their love and the rest of their lives to each other. They chose to include a mayan candle ritual.
Bea from Addy Florales combined texture and bold colors for Pam's bouquet as well as the table settings. The local details such as the handwoven name tags, Pam's comfy shoes featuring local fabric, the use of shoe molds at head table (used by cobblers in the region and such a sweet reminder of each step taken during their journey) made their wedding so meaningful and unique.
