Berry Hill Resort VA Wedding
Berry Hill Resort VA Wedding. Erin and David were planning a charity event for sick and injured children when, upon hearing one child’s touching story, their tear-soaked eyes locked. Their connection became solidified in the joy of making others’ lives better. Their wedding day at Berry Hill Resort in South Boston was classic in every sense. The color palette was black and white and leaned heavily on tradition. Erin and David cherish the love of family and it’s in family traditions where they found their greatest wedding inspiration.
The bride wore her mother’s cathedral-length veil and her grandmother’s vintage watch. Erin's father escorted her down the aisle in his traditional dress blues to represent his 23 years of service in the Army.
The couple wrote their own vows, but to their surprise, both included “I chose you” in their promises to one another. Erin’s 93-year old grandmother read her favorite Bible verse during their ceremony and her niece escorted the bride’s 11-year old Chihuahua.
Their reception featured plush white florals, delicious food, string lights, and an emotional first dance. The table numbers at the reception also reflected the years their parents, grandparents, and siblings had been wed.
It was the epitome of a timeless celebration honoring not just the connection of two beautiful souls but also, the people who love them.
