Big Indian New York Real Wedding. The Full Moon Resort in the Catskills of New York is touted as a world of its own. With the serene trickling of the Esopus Creek and the tall trees enveloping the grounds, it created that picturesque, otherworldly escape Sierra and Zack dreamed of for their wedding day.
Sierra chose a lace A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline. Her accessories were minimal and she wore a long veil that cascaded down her back. She walked down the aisle in blue heels while wearing the best accessory of the day: a smile sitting between her adorable dimples.
Taking a cue from the ceremony and reception location, Sierra's bridesmaids were cool shades of teal blue and green. Each bridesmaid wore a different color and a different style, allowing her personality to shine while still coordinating. All the ladies carried simple bouquets mixed with wildflowers and buds, relying heavily on the long, green stems for an added pop of color. The bride's bouquet also incorporated darker flowers for added contrast.
Surrounded by the lush greenery, this couple exchanged vows in front of a beautiful, handmade arbor with white draping. Zack and his groomsmen all matched perfectly in dark gray suits with teal green ties. And once the couple said I Do, they walked down the aisle in a shower of lavender.
The resort provides ample space for an outdoor, tented reception. Under a lit, white tent, guests enjoyed a divine dinner with crab cakes, New York strip, and more savory dishes. The couple offered multiple wedding cakes with simple buttercream designs, but don't let the charming exteriors fool you: guests were offered tiramisu, lemon raspberry and chocolate flavors to enjoy!
A unique touch to Sierra and Zack's reception was a photo display of all of their loved ones, hung up on wire lines in front of a window. It was a creative and memorable way to honor the history they have with their friends and family. And now, they have even more amazing photos to add to their collection!
Sierra and Zack had stars in their eyes on their wedding day, from start to stunning finish. And naturally, they couldn't have had it without the Full Moon. Best wishes to this beautiful couple!
