The art of ballet exudes elegance, grace, and movement. For the artistic and imaginative bride, this can serve as quite the muse for wedding day inspiration. The soft fabrics, delicate colors, and precision in this styled shoot creates a dreamy and modern experience. The incredible Blossom Trail of California’s Central Valley serves as the backdrop for this shoot. With its symmetrical and stunning rows of blossom trees boasting pink and white, it’s an ingenious setting for a ballet-inspired session.

Some brides choose to wear “ballet flats” for comfort on their wedding day but this ballerina bride wore and incorporated actual pointe shoes in this shoot. She dons a strapless sweetheart gown with a fitted bodice and mermaid style skirt with a dose of drama. And for a smart nod to ballerina style, her hair is styled in a modern bun.

The groom is equally as appealing in a dark gray three-piece suit, complete with a bowtie and blush pocket square. He looks sharp and classic and his look complements the bride impeccably.

The only way to describe the tablescape is breathtaking. It radiates romanticism and style. It is designed with a combination of floating candles and soft floral centerpieces, antique rose glassware, and clear gold-beaded charger plates placed over a voluminous and sequined table skirt reminiscent of a tutu. For a modern edge, the table also features clear Lucite chairs.

The cake is a creation of white and gold. Its simple look is matched with a topper of pink and white flowers. It is displayed on an ornate mirror that is presented on a charming white bar cart.

Although many parts of this shoot are seriously sophisticated, there are a few surprise elements. The couple holds a banner that says “Dancing the night away” – a perfect ode to the theme of the shoot. Also, cheeky cocktail cards, homemade signs, and vintage furniture round out the creative collection.
