Cancun Destination Wedding
Steph and Nick are an adventurous couple who love to travel together and have fun together, which is why it was no shock when they said they wanted to have a destination wedding. Nick purposed to Steph in a helicopter ride over the islands of Hawaii. They have traveled all over the world together - to include Australia, South America and Dubai. This was my first destination wedding, and I could not have been more blown away by the way their families and friends came together to celebrate these two special people.
They had a barefoot beach ceremony that faced the Caribbean Sea, and it was so unique for me as a photographer, because there were no walls to limit my movement, and I was able to capture some priceless reactions to their vows. The ceremony was held on the pool deck of the intimate, adults only resort, and they danced under the sunset and celebrated all night under the stars.
The entire day was the exact opposite of what you think of when you hear "beach wedding". Stephanie's dress was absolutely exquisite - a design by Lori Allen from Bridals by Lori in Atlanta and covered in intricate beaded designs. The flowers were rich in color and texture, the guests dressed beautifully, the bridesmaids looked flawless in their floor length lilac gowns, and the groomsmen looked great in their vests and bowties. And, the day was entirely stress free from the first look to the last dance.
