Cannery One Indie Nashville Tennessee Wedding
Cannery One Indie Nashville Tennessee Wedding. Jen and Devin aren't your average bride and groom. They brew their own beer, have amazing tastes in music, and even though Jen's mother had passed, they wanted to enjoy their wedding day in her absence. Their indie-inspired wedding in Nashville, Tennessee, encompassed eclectic fall touches with a mixture of locally grown flowers and an entertaining array of music all within the walls of an old cannery. From the outset, Jen and Devin incorporated modern and vintage elements into every aspect of their wedding. The invitation suite featured a coordinated bicycle design on textured paper. Jen wore a pair of vintage ribbon-tied gold booties. The venue, the Cannery One, still had its original painted brick exterior and a couple of vintage cars made an appearance.
Jen wore a lace A-line gown. It was complete with straps, a sweetheart neckline, and a dramatic back and train. She wore her short hair half-up with a pretty flower adornment in the back.
Jen carried a hearty bouquet full of fall colors like ivory, gold and orange.
Devin wore a dark gray three-piece suit. He matched his bride with a mustard gold tie, and chrysanthemum and gold crespedia boutonniere. He chose a pair of brown shoes to complete his look.
The ceremony took place inside and the couple pledged their vows in front of a panel of white-washed doors dressed up with natural branches and flowers.
After the ceremony, the couple took the chance to capture some artistic shots, posing in a brick-lined alley and sitting on a wooden bench.
Guests were greeted with a worn wooden sign of the United States and a personalized table for guests to leave a message to the bride and groom.
Tables were decorated with burlap runners, petite floral centerpieces, candles and golden yellow napkins.
The venue didn't require a lot of extra decor, as the walls were splashed with vintage metal work and gorgeous light fixtures hung from the ceiling.
The cake echoed the bicycle design from the invitation. It featured four completely different layers. The bottom was a pale yellow with dotted fondant details. The next layer was black, slightly taller and featured a tandem bicycle on the front. The next layer was decorated in pale green with a pleated design and the top layer was coral-colored with a wrapped fondant design and a charming monogram cake topper.
After dinner, the couple cut into their beautiful cake and spent the evening dancing with their guests to the amazing tunes of a local DJ. When the night was complete, they ascended the steps and said goodnight with a stunning sparkler send-off.
Jen and Devin used a little of this and a little of that to create a wedding that emulated their fun outlook on life. The attention to detail and personalized touches made their fall wedding an exclusive experience for everyone. Congratulations!
