Chuchito Beach Mexico Elopement

Chuchito Beach Mexico Elopement. The journey to Rachel and Jesus’ elopement was, in many parts, thanks to Cuba. Rachel was there to work on a book when she met Jesus. Even though they had to maintain a long distance relationship, they both knew exactly where it was going. So, the beloveds planned a beachside elopement near Chuchito Beach with just six guests. The experience was as moving and intimate as you can imagine.

Rachel had a very flirty and fun bridal style that matched her equally effervescent personality. She chose silver peep toe heels for her wedding day that were absolutely perfect for her tea-length dress!

Her bouquet featured vibrant blooms to match the South Florida beachside vibe. Roses, peonies, succulents and greenery were all Rachel needed for her captivating collection. She completed her look with a flirty birdcage veil – an ideal choice for a beach ceremony.

Jesus looked laidback and handsome in a black suit with a white open collar button down shirt. Together, the couple radiated joy and excitement before their ceremony.

Interestingly, the bride asked the photographer to pick the ceremony location. They chose the sandy beach right below the lighthouse at Bill Braggs State Park. Rachel was escorted down the beach by her father, who matched the mood of the day in a bright blue shirt.

With the small congregation nearby, the couple said their “I dos” through a very emotional ceremony, complete with lots of prayers and blessings from their loved ones.

After the ceremony, the photographer hung back and took a few photos of the new Mr. and Mrs. as they walked along the park before their celebration.

The couple had a simple but sweet picnic reception at the park that included lots of tasty treats and a small wedding cake with white rosettes.

After digging in and sharing a piece of cake, Rachel and Jesus sealed the sweetest part of the day with a kiss.

Elaborate, over-the-top weddings are wonderful but there’s just something so romantic, genuine and authentic about a small, no-fuss, no-muss elopement that makes one’s heart skip a beat. It’s evident that Rachel and Jesus knew exactly what they wanted - to simply get married with a few very dear family members at their side. And sometimes, that’s all you’ll ever need.
