Cummer Museum + Gardens Engagement
Cummer Museum Gardens Engagement. Rachel and Tommy had a wonderfully laidback engagement session at Cummer Museum and Gardens and the Washington Oaks Garden State Park in Jacksonville, Florida. And one critical outfit choice made it an even more special photo session for the engaged couple.
Tommy first spotted Rachel, where else, on Facebook. After waiting to meet this elusive lady, he finally got a chance at a mutual friend’s party. The two hit it off and after dating for a while, Tommy planned to propose. However, he asked the all-too-important question a little earlier than expected. An impromptu Alaskan vacation for the couple turned into a very memorable engagement trip, too.
Now, on the opposite side of the country, the two started their engagement session consumed by the natural beauty of Jacksonville.
Rachel wore a long blush dress with a gold belt and she styled her hair in a chic updo. Tommy wore a blue button down shirt and navy pants.
Tommy was smitten every time he laid his eyes on his future bride.
Even as they walked hand-in-hand, it’s clear these two were meant for each other .
The beautiful flowers and the natural sunlight made for gorgeous photos in the outdoor setting.
No engagement session would be complete without a couple up-close shots of the gorgeous ring, of course!
The couple even found their way beneath the majestic Cummer Oak, which has an impressive 150 foot canopy and is one of the oldest trees in all of Jacksonville.
Their outfits for the second part of the engagement session were actually what they wore on their very first date! How many couples can say that?
As they roamed Washington Oaks Garden State Park, Ashley wore a sleeveless striped blouse, skinny jeans, and wedges while Tommy chose a bright blue shirt and khakis.
The pair stood out amongst the many gorgeous trees and plant life in the park but more importantly, looked right at home as if they were going on another date.
The best thing about this engagement session was that Rachel and Tommy were comfortable and casual. They were true to themselves and shared a little slice of their history on film. They'll cherish these captured moments for years to come. Congratulations, Rachel and Tommy!
