Destination Elopement Positano Italy
Destination Elopement Positano Italy.
Lindsay and Harsh’s destination elopement was anything but ordinary thanks to the couple’s fine attention to detail. Set with the Amalfi Coast as their backdrop, the two wed on the terrace of Villa Boheme, overlooking Positano, Italy. Each moment was precisely designed to be equal parts romantic and memorable.
The bride worked with a calligrapher to create a one-of-a-kind invitation. The couple created their own monogram and even secured a gold wax stamp to seal their envelopes.
Lindsay looked radiant on her wedding day. Her lace gown featured thin straps and a jaw-dropping plunging back. For the ceremony, she fashioned a veil to her updo.
The entire wedding was centered around the idea of romance and the natural beauty of Positano. Leaning on the spectacular neutrals of the scene, Lindsay carried a bouquet filled with blush garden roses, white garden roses, berries, and assorted greenery. It was tied with hand-dyed silk ribbons for extra polish.
Harsh relished in the details, as well, starting with engraved cuff links.
As he stood on the terrace getting help with his boutonniere, Harsh looked positively handsome in a black suit complete with a polka dot black tie.
With the blue waters out ahead, Lindsay walked down the steps to her awaiting groom. They joined hands in front of their intimate gathering of loved ones and recited personalized vows during their Christian ceremony.
Even though it was quite windy, the couple managed to seal their vows with a stellar first kiss.
As the sun began to dip down below the cliffs, the bride and groom took an array of photos on the terrace before venturing off to the next part of their celebration.
They kicked off their shoes and boarded a boat to enjoy the views of the Amalfi Coast straight from the water.
They toasted with antique crystal goblets from Positano, a gift from the bride’s brother and girlfriend. They also kissed and basked in the newfound joy of being married.
Lindsay offers this advice for brides planning to jet set for their wedding: “Destination brides must be flexible, consider back-up options, and laugh it off when original plans go awry. Always realize that regardless of minor mishaps, it is a gift to marry the love of your life.”
Lindsay and Harsh’s surreal Italian destination elopement was a precious gift, indeed.
