Engagement Photos at The McGranahan Barn
Engagement Photos at The McGranahan Barn. You can learn a lot in life just by listening to your heart. During a night out of dancing, Mikah and Preston hesitantly spotted each other and Preston anxiously asked her to dance. Their first dance brought enlightening conversation that bonded them instantly. Exchanging phone numbers led to the most amazing first date where Preston, who is an excellent listener, included all of Mikah’s favorites including sweet tea, chicken fajitas, Reese’s peanut butter cups, and a playlist of her favorite songs. These country-loving cuties are excited to get married and start their lives together.
Preston dresses in a light blue shirt, jeans, and a tall white cowboy hat. Mikah wears a white bohemian-inspired sundress and teal cowgirl boots. She accessorizes with striking turquoise jewelry.
The bright sunlight drenches the countryside, seeping through the trees and casting shadows around the couple. They embrace on an old dirt road and lay side-by-side in the green grass.
The location is an authentic working farm and the couple are accompanied by animals and traditional farm fixtures. Set near a time-worn barn, they make a new appearance. Mikah wears a different white dress, new boots, and a denim jacket. Preston changes into a white button-down shirt.
Mikah’s boots customized the boots herself. Her traditional cowgirl boots have blue and white beaded details that are fabulous and fun.
There’s a quiet gentility one feels while in the country. As the sunlight weakens, the couple continues their session holding one another in front of the beautiful white barn and admiring the property’s 240 acres. The only disturbances are the sounds of crickets in the grass and the burning sun setting on the horizon.
The connection Mikah and Preston had from the start was strong and spiritually sound. The two knew this was more than just a chance at love. Even if the prince wears a cowboy hat and the princess has teal fringe cowgirl boots, fairytales can, in fact, happen if you just stop and listen to your heart.
