Fall Wedding at the Fearrington House. Lauren and Salem are a beaming couple so it’s no wonder that their wedding day at the Fearrington House Inn in Pittsboro, North Carolina, was nothing short of luminous. This charming pastoral getaway was the quintessential Southern backdrop for a classic outdoor wedding.
Channeling timeless elegance, Lauren wore a lace V-neck gown with a stunning back and embellished belt. She accessorized with a fingertip-length lace veil and earrings.
Her bouquet was bursting with color, spanning the spectrum from peach, to red, to pink, and green.
Salem wore a black suit, white shirt, and black tie. He looked every bit the classic groom. His bright boutonniere complemented the flowers in the bride’s bouquet.
Their intimate ceremony took place under the whitewashed arbor. The groom entered with the couple’s beloved four-legged friend, who looked dapper, himself. And Lauren entered to melodious string music. With just the couple and the minister at the front, the small gathering of friends and family made for an even more cozy and welcoming feeling as the two said their “I dos.”
After the ceremony, Lauren and Salem retreated to the property for photos as the newly-minted Mr. and Mrs.
The photographer also captured the beautiful back detail of the bride’s dress.
The reception was held inside and featured one long family-style table. The natural wood table was decorated with a lace runner and a line of centerpieces that echoed the colors of the bride’s bouquet. Candlelight was woven in and out of the center of the table, as well.
Guests sat down to a lovely four-course dinner and regaled the couple with love and positive spirit. A couple of lovely young family members even had a little fun dangling from the white fence on the perimeter of the farm.
As the sun set, the couple enjoyed dancing and laughing under the shimmer of the patio’s string lights.
The sweet conclusion to their evening was the simple, but sensational cake. Three tiers were frosted with white buttercream in an alternating angle pattern for an eye-catching effect. It was topped with a confidently colored flower topper.
This Fearrington House Inn wedding was everything the couple wanted. A small gathering of loved ones to share in an elegant ceremony and entertaining reception was the ideal choice for Lauren and Salem. This historic farm helped them solidify their commitments into luxurious lifelong memories.
