Garden Bridal Inspiration
Garden Bridal Inspiration.
Maclay Gardens in Tallahassee, Florida is truly a special place. There are many paths that lead through beautiful gardens and in the springtime it is just plain magic. Azaleas, camellias, and Japanese magnolias burst into bloom putting on the most romantic display of color and perfuming the air with their lovely scent.
For this bridal shoot, we were especially inspired by the Japanese magnolias. Caroline Chelette of Moonstruck Florals created a stunning mostly foraged bouquet of Japanese magnolias, butterfly ranunculus, and sweet peas and tied it together with lush walnut dyed ribbon by Silk and Willow.
Our bride, Diamond, wore a cream colored Truvelle gown with a romantic bodice and flowy skirt. She kept her look natural with minimal makeup and her hair down in loose waves.
The images feel so serene and etherial to me and I am in love with the result of this shoot. We wanted to keep the look simple and focus on the natural beauty of Diamond and the gardens and I feel like our vision translated beautifully into the images.
