Greenville SC Wedding From Hannah Woodard Photography

Greenville SC Wedding From Hannah Woodard Photography. What's prettier than an outdoor, Southern ceremony? Well, maybe one with a gaggle of flower girls dressed in tutus. For Southern darlings with a penchant for mint green, Heather and Mike, a wedding underneath an old oak tree in front of friends and family was the only way to tie the knot.

After five lovely little flower girls wearing baby’s breath crowns sprayed the aisle with flowers, it was time for Sarah’s entrance.

Heather's father escorted her to the ceremony. She looked refined in a lace empire-waist gown. Her dress featured cap sleeves, an element gaining popularity in bridal fashion. She put the finishing touch to her gorgeous blonde hair with a lace-hemmed veil and mint green chandelier earrings. Her soft, sweet appearance was flawless.

Waiting at the aisle was her groom, Mike, who, along with his groomsmen, donned a khaki-colored suit for his wedding day. They opted for mint green ties and white rosebud boutonnieres. And equally on the other side, Heather's four bridesmaids wore one-shoulder mint green dresses and carried bouquets featuring white hydrangea. The tree the two were married under offered dangling glass jars of pink roses and baby's breath, a delightful touch to the ceremony.

After a sweet embrace and first kiss, guests were invited to fete the couple at a reception following the ceremony. The wedding cake was definitely a centerpiece to the occasion. It was a round three-tiered mint green creation. It featured cascading white roses and hydrangea all down the front. It was a wedding work of art.

Rustic Southern weddings are still very much in and this couple created a beautiful ambiance with touches of burlap, lace, and bright blue Mason jars filled with blooms of white hydrangea. For favors, guests were offered mint green koozies to keep their drinks cool. And at the end of the night, Heather and Mike chose to steal one more moment beneath their beloved tree.

Heather and Mike were definitely mint to be! Congratulations to this charming couple!
