Heisen House Vineyard Battle Ground Washington Wedding
Mariah and Shaun’s wedding was DIY perfection! Almost every detail of this gorgeous wedding was in some way handcrafted, collected or labored over and it turned out so beautiful. Whether a bride is on a budget or wants to incorporate personality into the wedding, this couple shows it is possible to have an elegant and perfectly imperfect wedding.
Mariah wore a lovely Vera Wang by David’s Bridal gown in a blush shade and helped her bridesmaids coordinate options to keep them looking natural and feeling comfortable.
When the ceremony was over, wedding guests waved ribbon wands at the newly hitched couple – a perfect alternative to sparklers or the traditional rice throwing.
After the ceremony, guests were treated to homemade chili and handcrafted wine – both a sure hit at the reception. Throughout the reception, no detail was spared as Mariah and Shaun’s hard work showed in the collection of votives for flowers, hand stamped wedding favors and handmade foods. Table runners and fabric accents were all created by the bride and her mother and everything turned out fabulously.
The final touch to this amazing wedding was the take-home favors, which included handmade preserves and condiments, graciously made by one of Mariah’s bridesmaids!
