Horseshoe Bay Texas Quail Point Lodge Wedding
Quail Point Lodge Wedding. Texas twosome Kacy and Cole would describe their style as vintage meets modern, an eclectic collection of bits and pieces from old and new, infused into a marvelous partnership. They set out to have a totally original, never-before-seen wedding day that guests would remember for years to come; they just never imagined how beautiful and amazing it would become!
Kacy has fair skin and rich, dark hair, so her ivory colored dress was the perfect choice. The strapless, sweetheart creation featured an embellished bodice, ruched waistband and A-line skirt. It was flattering and made her look ever-the-elegant bride. With a classic updo, she framed her face with teardrop earrings and a long, bejeweled veil.
Supporting the bride were four gorgeous bridesmaids. Every lady wore a long strapless sweetheart dress, a similar style to the bride, in a cobalt blue color. They all wore large, statement necklaces with strands of pearls and carried bouquets with hydrangea and cream roses. They each looked relaxed and comfortable.
Awaiting Kacy at the altar was Cole, dressed in a three-piece gray suit with a deep blue tie.
His groomsmen also donned similar looks, with different style ties to coordinate. All six gentlemen looked laid-back and handsome at the front of the church.
After the couple exchanged rings and said their vows, they sealed their promises with a kiss. While guests were invited to make their way to the reception, the couple took advantage of the beautiful Horseshoe Bay, Texas, and had a private photo shoot.
They walked along the water, embraced as the sun went down and kicked back in the front seat of a classic car.
The reception space had a lot of personal touches and creations. The guest book was a handmade chalkboard frame that guests could sign as they entered. A notable design element was the chevron pattern, which was plentiful and prominent, specifically on the reception tables where chevron table runners sat atop blue linens with hearty arrangements of hydrangea, roses and greenery. On the patio outside, guests mixed and mingled under a tree dripping with blue and white lanterns.
The cake was a beautiful white work of art. It was five layers, each unique in size and design. It even included a layer with a thin design mimicking that of the beloved chevron the couple adores. It had two lovebirds on top and a small flower detail on the side. It sat atop a gorgeous silver cake stand. The table was decorated with a blue linen and chevron table runner identical to those on the reception tables.
The couple dined and danced with friends and family until late in the night and when it was time to say goodbye, a sparkler send-off was the way to go. This couple knows exactly who they are and had no regrets incorporating rare, one-off touches into their wedding day. It's one night many won't forget, and too exceptional to be seen anywhere else. Congratulations to Kacy and Cole! Quail Point Lodge Wedding
