Houmas House Styled Bridal Shoot

Just outside of New Orleans sits the Houmas House Plantation and Gardens. The lush and vibrant landscape of this location is the perfect spot for a bridal shoot, allowing a radiant bride to shine in a natural setting. Any element brought into this scene will pop against the abundant greenery. The bride’s strapless A-line gown is like a heliograph on a hidden trail.

Bold flowers in the bouquet provide a welcome pop of color. Red, pink, and white roses, and hypericum berries are nestled in a bed of greenery and white veronica.

The beautiful blonde wears a red lip for a bold style statement to complement the colors in the shoot.

Her accessories include statement teardrop earrings and a delicately beaded headband to adorn her curls.

On one of the many aged benches on the property, a naked cake features billowy layers of buttercream.

Pink flowers and greenery, similar to the bride’s bouquet, are used in the cake topper to create one dreamy looking dessert.

A ladder resigned to wear and tear is revamped into a gorgeous candlelit display. Jars with white pillars and beds of moss are hung from each rung of the ladder with twine.

This splendid shoot embraces the sights and sounds of Louisiana in a gorgeous garden setting. The blonde bride, the white gown, and the colorful flowers are all ingenious additions for a standout shoot amongst the trees.
