Ice Castles Engagement in Utah
Ice Castles Engagement in Utah. Paige and Logan’s engagement shoot in Utah touched on many different locations; however, their best and favorite was one they didn’t even plan on exploring. After finding the Alpine Loop closed due to avalanches, the couple and their photographer went to the Ice Castles – proving that avalanches can be blessings in disguise. With a thick blanket of snow on the ground, Paige and Logan took no time to kid around and have fun. Paige looked chic and stylish with a black and gray coat and tall black boots. Logan wore a thick and comfy gray sweater to match.
The first part of their shoot was focused on comfortable and casual style. In front of a barn they exchange a tender kiss. While walking arm-in-arm they bust out in hearty laughter.
They are captured in an awe-inducing scene with the titanic mountains in the distance, where the snow seems to create a transparency that makes the silhouette disappear into the sky.
Paige removes her thick coat to reveal a cozy flannel black and gray dress underneath.
With wide smiles, they find comfort and warmth as they wrap up in each other’s arms.
The second half of their shoot was more formal. And with the Ice Castle as their backdrop, it was a breathtaking combination of style and nature.
From behind the lens, the photographer captures this gorgeous ring shot. A peek of Paige’s long-sleeve red dress can be seen. The bold color is echoed in her red manicure and Logan’s red tie.
The dripping icicles create a curtain behind the picturesque Paige. Her long red dress is abundantly striking in the pallid milieu.
Logan wears a navy blue suit, which is a perfect complementary color to the bold red hue. He joins his blonde-haired beauty in an affectionate embrace.
With solemn expressions, the couple is offset by a tower of snow as they stand at a tunnel’s edge.
In the next frame, they kiss as the snow gently flutters and falls around them.
The tender moments captured on camera are the best and throughout the shoot, Logan has no problem making Paige laugh.
This shot is incredible. The lofty walls of ice on both sides of the couple are captivating; however, the size pales in comparison to focal point below.
Logan twirls Paige and she shows off the unexpected detail of her dress – a confident open back!
One more shot of the couple by the Ice Castles offers a certain sweetness, a sense of security as they hold hands and look into each other’s eyes.
Emerging from the Ice Castles, Paige and Logan walk hand-in-hand out into the snow. The sunlight breaking on the horizon produces a gleam reflected by the snow attached to the brush.
