Italy Styled Shoot by Justina Bilodeau Photography
Italy Styled Shoot by Justina Bilodeau Photography. Who knew a mill dating back to 1570 could be transformed into an austere and charming venue! The Laconda Rosa Rosae in Italy boasts centuries of heritage and history. For this fashionable styled shoot, it was the perfect canvas for pastoral sophistication. All of the touches in this shoot echo rustic qualities, including sun hats, distressed wood, and most notably, olive branches. These delicate touches are incorporated into the invitation suite, as well as many places throughout for a cohesive, natural look.
A framed escort card display features a unique characteristic. Small sleeves hold cards with guests’ names on them and can be plucked when it’s time to find their seat.
The bride looks like a radiant and graceful figure. Her empire waist gown is made from delicate lace and ties in the front. The sleeves are dainty and the design is demure. She wears tender curls with a flower accessory and small dangling earrings. Her bouquet is replete with baby’s breath.
How earnest but edgy the groom looks with a gray vest and a black bowtie! A pair of suspenders hangs down over his black pants and a smart beard and hairstyle complete his look.
The contrast between the serious groom and the gentle bride is exquisite. Their looks are complementary as she sits and he stands right outside the stone wall.
Fitting table décor includes metal lanterns, lace-wrapped jars of daisies, and potted plants. A burlap runner accents the vintage buffet-turned-table. Included in the setting is an aged chair, wooden crates, and trees in the background.
In the splendid sun, the bride and groom share the scene together.
The bride shows off a transformative look with a teased hairstyle accented with a beaded headband and plum-colored lip. She coordinates the accessories with a simple lace A-line gown with cap sleeves and modern neckline.
Her look resembles that of a Roman goddess. And for an appropriate evening look, she wraps a beautifully embroidered fringe shawl around her shoulders.
The bride isn’t the only one with accessories. The groom grabs a gray newsboy cap, straightens his bowtie, and pulls up his suspenders for a complete new expression.
One final style from the bride features a high-neck lace jacket with three-quarter length sleeves. It covers a white jumpsuit with a sweetheart neckline.
She can either wear a fun oversized sun hat or take off the jacket for a warm weather statement.
The location for this shoot served as the focal point for inspiration. The bride explored many shapes and styles and the groom incorporated several versatile options. Both looked country chic and rustically romantic at this gem of a countryside setting.
