Just Because Love Letters. This shoot is unique for one special reason – a couple very much in love exchange letters to one another, allowing the camera to capture their authentic reactions. For Cheyenne and Josh, this pivotal moment was unveiled with the help of the resplendent Merry Hill Farm in Mebane, N.C. Their story is one that’s full of history and big milestones, and it’s all summed up by the beautiful words they wrote to each other.
Framed by spools of dusty blue ribbon and sprigs of silver dollar eucalyptus, two love letters are rich with character.
The shoot starts with small details like a ring and a perfume bottle before graduating to Cheyenne’s beautiful bouquet. Pink garden roses, lily of the Nile, lily of the valley, eucalyptus and more combine for a truly graceful collection.

Josh complements her in a dark gray suit, black tie and matching black shoes.
They make their way to the front of the charming whitewashed home to exchange letters. With their backs to one another, they begin to read.
Once they’re through, they face each other, clearly touched by the sentiments they each put down in their letters.

One final image shows them in front of the farm’s small pond, a reflection not only of themselves but of their relationship.
Love letters don’t have to be reserved for a special occasion or a last goodbye. Write them just because you have something in your heart to say. Cheyenne and Josh didn’t hold back during their shoot. And now, they have a moment of true vulnerability and passion extoled forever.
