Lahaina Hawaii Wedding
Lahaina Hawaii Wedding - Destination Weddings.
Samara and Jeremy knew a destination wedding in Maui was the perfect way to unite their lives together and 60 guests from all over the world joined them at the beautiful shores of Hawaii. Beneath a sun-drenched summer sky, these two said I do in picture-perfect paradise.
Samara couldn't have picked a more appropriate dress for her wedding day. The lacey A-line gown was breezy and beautiful. She wrapped a royal blue band around her waist, which was a central color to the wedding day. Her hair was fashioned in a soft updo and accessorized with white flowers and a traditional lace-hemmed veil. Her five bridesmaids were v-neck dresses in the same royal blue color, with orange sandals. Each lady styled her hair in her own unique way and everyone carried bouquets with tropical gold and orange flowers.
Jeremy and his groomsmen opted for a jacket-free wedding day look. The guys wore sold-blue ties, while Jeremy's featured a blue and black design. This really added a pop of color next to their black vests and pants. They sported boutonnieres with tropical orange flowers that tied in the natural beauty of their surroundings.
Escorted by her parents, Samara walked down the aisle to a seaside chuppah that was assembled with light, flowing drapery and bright bouquets of gold and red flowers flanked on each side. With the gentle hum of the waves in the background, Samara and Jeremy pledged their love in a traditional Jewish ceremony.
The inspiration for the reception stemmed from the couple's love of traveling and the perfect Maui environment. Tables were splashed with blue stemware and linens, bright flower arrangements, postcards and anecdotes of some of the world's most beloved attractions, such as the Eiffel Tower.
Every couple has to dance at least once at their reception and Samara and Jeremy took full advantage. The couple changed into traditional ballroom dancing attire and burnt up the dance floor, lifting, twirling and spinning their way through the music.
For a sweet nightcap, their wedding cake also paid tribute to another love: rock climbing. It featured a playful-looking Samara ascending a mountain with her groom, Jeremy, awaiting at the bottom. It was complete with a harness and furry forest friends looking down upon the couple. It was adorable and appropriate for their personalities.
This wedding was fun and playful, yet still traditional and relevant to what makes weddings so special. No matter what mountains they face, or where the world takes them, these two will surely make their life together an adventure they'll never forget. Congratulations to this fun, full-of-life couple!
