From the bride: I have been dreaming of a beach wedding for a long time. Holland Michigan holds a special place in my heart. My parents and grandparents have cottages on the water and I went to college in the same town. We spend the majority of our summers on the water. Ever since Zach and I got engaged we started thinking about the logistics of how we would create this dream beach wedding. We didn't think it was going to be that complicated, but as we got into the details we quickly realized we were wrong. As we started making phone calls and researching we realized this might not be a reality. Tent rentals were telling us they were going to have to bring their equipment over by boat. I also wanted a floor to the tent so that it wasn't going to be just sand. This was another tough piece of the puzzle to find. After days of making phone calls and running into many dead ends we ended up finding a local tent company (Alpine Tent Rental) and a floor company out of Detroit that bent over backwards to make this dream come true! It wasn't easy and took a lot of meetings and coordinating but everyone created the venue from scratch and it was stunning! It was everything Zach and I could have dreamed of and more.
