LakeView Ontario Canada Wedding
LakeView Ontario Canada Wedding. You might not think a bachelor party may lead to happily ever after but for Paula and Ryan, their Lakeview wedding was the product of a festive night out. After meeting through mutual friends at a bachelor party, the two went on their first date and the rest is history. They celebrated their marriage with a beautiful harbor-front wedding with their closest friends and family, and their daughter, Summer.
The theme of their big day centered around their life of travel, sense of adventure and bright and beautiful florals. Guests got a glimpse of their wedding inspiration thanks to a pastel-filled floral-themed invitation suite.
Paula was a stunning bride on her wedding day. She wore an off-the-shoulder lace fit-and-flare gown that fit her remarkably. She paired it with a veil, teardrop earrings and a classic bouquet.
Her bridesmaids wore two separate styles that fit the day's ambiance. Some wore blush pink gowns, some wore lace, and others wore white and blue gowns. Collectively, they were a beaming group that epitomized the harbor-side feel.
Guests entered The Lakeview for the couple’s ceremony. They were greeted with a beautiful sign welcoming them under the tent.
Ryan, dressed in a sharp light gray tuxedo with blush tie, waited for his bride at the head of the aisle.
Before their loving congregation of family and friends, the two said “I do” with laughs and tears, and sealed their vows with kisses.
One thing about Paula and Ryan is that they have lived many places all over the world, so it was important to incorporate that aspect of their life into their big day. One chic way to accomplish that was by using antique accents like a globe and handheld telescope.
Set atop vintage luggage next to a beautiful high-back chair, they created the perfect vantage point next to the water.
Paula and Ryan were elated after the ceremony and couldn’t wait to celebrate with family and friends at the Harbor Banquet and Conference Center.
The travel and floral theme continued through the reception, including lovely post cards used as table numbers.
Candles, gold accents and blush-colored roses were abundant and plentiful in the couple's bright reception space.
Their crisp and simple white wedding cake featured delicate rose accents and a golden cake topper to tie into their wedding theme.
Paula dreamed of a perfect first dance and her husband, Ryan, rose to the challenge. He blew guests away as they danced for the first time as Mr. and Mrs.
A vintage map served as part of the escort card display - another beautiful nod to their life of travel.
Paula and Ryan infused additional spaces in the reception area with vintage pieces including an antique typewriter, watercolors, old books and of course, pictures of the couple.
Paula and Ryan have a very unique life together and using the many places they’ve lived around the world as the inspiration for their big day was personal, yet unique. They didn’t just highlight it; they incorporated this aspect in a chic and stunning way. Not only will their day be memorable for everything it was and everything it represents, but it’s also a reminder of everywhere they’ve been and the possibilities of everywhere they’re going.
