Laurel Hall Indiana Wedding
From start to finish, Morgan and Alex’s Laurel Hall wedding in Indianapolis, Indiana, teemed with flowers. From the bouquets to the centerpieces to even the wedding cake, every detail was touched by natural blooms. And the colors and textures only added to the couple’s romantic and much-anticipated day. The invitation suite perfectly captured the soft blue color palette. It also handsomely presented a floral design that spoke to the theme behind their big day.
It was all about the details for bride Morgan. Sparkling silver shoes were the perfect heels to walk down the aisle.
Her bouquet featured a unique and beautiful combination of light and dark blooms, such as lavender roses, berries, burgundy dahlias, and assorted greenery. To bring out the wedding colors, the collection was tied with light blue ribbons.
Morgan chose a strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline. It featured ruching on the bodice and a voluminous layered skirt. She accessorized with a beaded headband atop her intricate updo, along with statement earrings.
Alex got ready with his best guys at his side. For his wedding day look, he donned a navy blue tuxedo, bow tie, and brown shoes.
The couple came together before the ceremony for photos. With the verdant greenery of Laurel Hall as the backdrop, these two looked sublime in the sunlight.
They walked down the quiet pathway, stealing a moment of affection before joining the rest of the bridal party.
Alex’s groomsmen matched his style and wore bold boutonnieres made with red dahlias. But don’t let their serious countenances fool you, they all sported silly socks, too.
Morgan’s bridesmaids beamed in long light blue dresses with jewel necklines. They also carried cheerful bouquets with hues that popped.
The ceremony took place on the lawn. Morgan was escorted down the aisle by her parents to Alex, who was waiting in front of a romantic floral arbor.
They held hands and made their promises of forever. After they said “I do,” they made their way back up the aisle, officially as husband and wife.
They were elated to begin the celebration indoors but first stopped for an intimate moment on the rooftop terrace.
Inside the gorgeous venue with its antique wood paneling, guests found their seats from a personalized seating chart.
The limestone fireplace was bedecked with abundant flowers and greenery for a refreshing presentation. Candlelight was interspersed between the arrangements to provide a lovely glow.
The head table featured a light blue linen, clear dinner plates, and runners filled with flowers.
Even the chairs were decorated with delicate touches of greenery and white flowers.
The wedding cake was a simple but sweet two-tier creation that featured a lovely buttercream design. It was embellished and topped with flowers, greenery, and assorted berries.
The couple were toasted and honored throughout the evening.
They enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife in front of their friends. They never stopped smiling.
The timeless romance of the couple and their venue is one that won’t be forgotten. Morgan and Alex epitomized the joy and excitement everyone should feel on their wedding day, making every moment that much more seamless, and that much more special.
