Lavender Fields Engagement Photos
Lavender Fields Engagement Photos. For Mallory’s eighteenth birthday, she received much more than just presents and a cake. It was at that party where she met Alex. A week later, they were officially together and before they knew it, they were playing Danny and Sandy in their school’s rendition of Grease. To celebrate their anniversary six years later, the couple visited Malibu with friends. While Mallory’s instincts told her a proposal was around the corner, Alex surprised her by getting down on one knee when she least expected it – as they were out inspecting tide pools on the beach.
For their engagement photos, Mallory found the gorgeous Clairmont Lavender Farm in Los Olivos, California. Just outside of Santa Barbara, this illustrious location is known for its picturesque acres of lavender and products.
This youthful couple really shined throughout their shoot. They experimented and played with many different embraces and poses, even with Mallory jumping on Alex’s back. Alex wore a light blue button-down shirt and khaki pants. Mallory coordinated beautifully with the location and chose a lavender dress and a long white lace sweater. The colors of this shoot are soft and romantic. The gentle sunlight and modest pastels make for one incredible scene.
Mallory and Alex included a chalkboard sign with their wedding date to commemorate their upcoming nuptials.
Mallory changes into a most appropriate high-low white dress and brown heels. While holding hands, a classic ring shot shows off her beautiful diamond sparkler.
And Alex shows off, too! He climbs a tree and enthusiastically jumps. Mallory playfully tries to catch him from the ground.
Their shoot concludes with a romantic kiss on the gravel road as they hold hands and begin a new chapter towards marriage.
If you find the right location, your engagement shoot needs little extra additions to make it special. Mallory and Alex relied on the stunning lavender fields and most of all, their personalities to make their engagement photos special. Unlike Danny and Sandy, their love story has no ending.
