Lexington Virginia Wedding
Lexington Virginia Wedding - Fine Art Film.
Tucked away in the illustrious rolling mountains of Lexington, Va, Big Spring Farm is where Bethany and Andrew planned their picture-perfect wedding day. After having known one another since elementary school, a big celebration was certainly in store. With a host of family and friends eager to celebrate their union, these two were married under a canopy of trees, with bucolic countryside as far as the eye could see.
The wedding vision was clean and crisp with a refreshing green and white color palette.
Bethany’s gown was a lace stunner, featuring a modern lace cut-out bodice, silk waistband and dramatic tulle skirt.
Accessories included her stunning solitaire diamond engagement ring, a pearl bracelet and of course, a flawless bouquet of garden roses and ranunculus.
She was a radiant vision on the steps of Grace House, where her and her bridal party got ready before the ceremony.
Andrew was every bit the charming and excited groom in a navy blue suit. A white tie and white boutonniere, along with a brown belt and coordinating brown shoes, completed his wedding attire.
Bethany and Andrew had a first look moment before the ceremony on the steps of the house, where the two shared an impassioned kiss.
They also took bridal party photos before the ceremony to save more time for celebrating! Bethany’s bridesmaids looked lovely in long taupe dresses of various styles and designs and Andrew’s groomsmen followed his lead in navy blue suits, as well.
With perfect weather over head, guests descended upon the outdoor ceremony location, which was bursting with greenery and radiant sunshine. It also gave guests a great view of the property’s namesake – the “Big Spring”– one of the largest natural springs in the state of Virginia.
Under a floral and fabric arbor, the two joined hands and shared their vows before their dearest loved ones.
After saying “I do,” they roamed Big Spring Farm to take their first photos as husband and wife, soaking in a few quiet minutes before heading to the barn for the reception.
Tables were adorned with white linens, assorted vases, ample greenery and gold accents. The inclusion of both white and gold touches illuminated the 19th-century barn.
The couple offered a divine dessert bar for their guests. But the wedding cake, in its beautiful simplicity, was the centerpiece as it was topped with an adorable message: finally.
Andrew and Bethany shared their first dance as husband and wife, and a kiss that said everything they were feeling.
Andrew and Bethany’s wedding at Big Spring Farm was about a perfect as one can imagine. The combination of modern and rustic touches highlighted the venue’s most stunning characteristics, and every detail exuded the love they have for one another. Their wedding day in the hills of Virginia was more than 20 years in the making, and will be a memory they’ll cherish for many years to come.
