Loft 310 Wedding - Kalamazoo, Michigan
Modern, romantic and sentimental – that’s how one would describe Melissa and Tim’s Loft 310 wedding. Based in the heart of Kalamazoo, Mich., Melissa knew that after her fairytale Disneyland proposal from Tim, she had to find the perfect planner. Rhiannon Bosse helped create a vision in pink that was as lovely and youthful as it was fresh and light.
Melissa is a pink girl at heart so the blush pink color palette was a no-brainer. Their invitation suite balanced the pretty hue with black envelopes.
She chose modern beaded heels, statement jewelry and of course, a princess ball gown.
The ceremony and reception took place at Loft 310. The white brick and hardwood floors provided the perfect aesthetic for the couple’s vision.
The weather couldn’t have been more perfect. The bride ascended to the rooftop with her bridesmaids for pre-ceremony photos. The group, dressed in blush gowns with their own unique necklines, beamed alongside the bride.
Tim and his groomsmen embodied a modern look. Slim-fit black suits with slim black ties looked seamless on everyone.
The bride and groom exchanged love notes to one another before the ceremony, posing for photos on the rooftop before guests arrived.
Melissa affixed a veil to her luscious curls before walking down the aisle. She met Tim in between two elegant floral arrangements and exchanged vows in front of family and friends.
Inside, the reception featured a romantic, contemporary vibe. A geometric escort display helped guests find their seats.
Black chivari chairs were placed alongside white linen tables for classic elegance.
The head table was pretty in pink with its floral table linen, white china, black napkins and gold flatware.
Tim and Melissa offered guests a dessert buffet, complete with beautiful and delicious sweet treats of all shapes and sizes.
Their charming wedding cake featured two square tiers with white beading on the layers and floral embellishments.
In the middle of the celebration, Tim and Melissa stole away to the roof for a few last photos as the sun went down on Kalamazoo. And with the photographer’s unique double exposure, both their much-in-love silhouettes and the floral inspiration for the day were captured in one eye-catching last frame.
Tim and Melissa’s Kalamazoo wedding was as refreshing and romantic as their relationship. Framed with a contemporary space, they exchanged vows through their own unique perspectives – giving her the blush she craved with a modern style to suit Tim. It was perfect in every way. And perfectly Tim and Melissa.
