Magenta Franklin Tennessee Wedding

Magenta wedding. The best advice any bride can receive is “Do what makes you and the groom happy.” In Ginger’s case, her wedding date was cemented for the summertime but she longed for a non-traditional wedding color; therefore, she chose a deep wine color instead of the usual bright and pastel hues. And the result was marvelous! Set in Franklin, Tennessee, this unexpected colorful addition brought an element of elegant surprise to her and Ryan’s garden-inspired wedding. Ginger wore a beautiful and flattering strapless fit-and-flare lace gown and fingertip-length veil.  She chose to walk down the aisle in a sassy pair of sparkling silver heels.

Their invitations featured bright pink roses set against a black frame for a small peek into the day’s ambiance.

Her bouquet still very much said “bridal” with its abundant white flowers. The inclusion of the dark red flowers tied in her color palette in a lovely way.

Ryan and his groomsmen all wore gray three-piece suits. While the guys all wore black bow ties, Ryan stood out with a black and white tie. He also wore a boutonniere fashioned with a dark red and white flower.

They couldn’t contain their excitement as they embraced, laughed, and kissed before walking down the aisle.

They were wed in front of family and friends in a traditional church ceremony and chose to unite through the joint potting of a plant, symbolizing a new life and hope for a fruitful future together.

Ginger’s bridesmaids certainly looked sensational in their long wine-colored gowns.

Their reception featured a lot of vintage and DIY elements created by the bride herself. The garden theme was certainly evident outside under a white tent and under string lights, with abundant trees and shrubs in every turn.

The cake also tied in the colorful theme. Five layers of alternating ruffles and smooth white fondant with gold dusting made for one dynamic design. Nestled between each layer were sprigs of eucalyptus and white and red flowers for a contrast to the ivory tiers.

One color choice made this wedding unique and just what the bride wanted. Ginger had a vision and she went for it, regardless of conventional colors. And the couple’s kiss at the end of the night proves this wedding was a huge hue hit!
