Matera Italy Wedding Inspo.

We chose a beautiful long sleeve dress from Amsale as we wanted an elegant and modern look in contrast with the ancient town of Matera.

Matera known as la Città Sotterranea ("the Underground City"),  is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, having been inhabited since the 10th millennium BC, named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993. Matera was recently declared Italian host of European Capital of Culture for 2019. This town it's just simply beautiful and so magical.

The ceremony set up took place at Masseria Fontana di Vite, a lovely Masseria in Matera build in the 19th century and then for the portrait session we went to the Matera Canyon.
