Merrimon Wynne House Wedding Shoot

Some weddings are very traditional. Some are very modern. This wedding shoot at the Merrimon-Wynne House and Raleigh Rose Garden in North Carolina is a beautiful collaboration of both. From up-to-the-minute fashion to a gorgeous charcuterie platter, sweetness drips in every Southern detail.

The invitation suite has an antique appeal with deep colors, elegant scripting, and wax stamps. It’s a delightful precursor to the main event at the Merrimon-Wynne House.

Florals are a staple in creating the ambiance for this shoot. Abundant arrangements, centerpieces, and swags are seen throughout the venue and beyond.

The bridal fashion is current and fresh. The bride wears a lace-inspired crop top gown. Her bridesmaids mix and match with cream-colored gowns in various styles.

The edible elements are as gorgeous as they are delectable.

Wedding favors consisting of loaves of bread are tied with ribbon and the copper mule mugs look splendid with the mixture of marble and wooden chargers.

The styling for the next location, the Raleigh Rose Garden, is a seamless transition with just a few additional touches.

The bride wears a floral crown with roses, dahlias, and ivy.

Her bridesmaids join in with comfortable dresses and ivy crowns.

Everything from the pink satin ribbons to the fig garnish to the honeycomb cake décor has just the right amount of sweetness to create a classical Southern look with a fun modern twist.
