Modern Military Georgia Wedding From Taken by Tate

Military Georgia Wedding. There are no rules when it comes to wedding these days. In fact, the more personalized and non-traditional, the better! For this military wedding, the only thing traditional was the groom's uniform and Mollie and Brandon wouldn't have had it any other way for their Georgia wedding.

This bride was working on a budget and she did in total style. Mollie wore a short white dress with a wide neckline to show off a fun, statement necklace.  Her accessories included a short veil and fun, white wedges.

Her bridesmaids wore fashion-forward dresses, all with same black and white striped skirts but different black tops. They carried light pink gerbera daisy bouquets, while the bride's bouquet was crafted with white hydrangea and pink roses.

Brandon looked absolutely handsome in his formal Army dress uniform. By his side were six groomsmen, wearing simple white button-down shirts with black and white striped bowties and pink boutonnieres.

The couple was married outside at the Meadowlark Gardens. The aisle was framed with white chairs and black shepherd's hooks with white ribbons and hanging flower votives. In front of a large oak tree and a weather-worn white cross, the couple said their I do's in front of their loved ones.

The reception was all about food and fun. Reception tables featured runners of black and green fabric and large flower arrangements with pink hydrangea, branches of flowers, and hanging vines, all surrounded by small votive candles.

The couple cut into a square two-tiered cake with a white decorative bottom layer and light pink top layer. The cake was topped with a simple black M for the couple's initial. Guests also noshed on classic red velvet cupcakes.

After the couple dined and danced, they made their way through a sparkler exit. The bride had even changed into a fun pair of cowboy boots. But before the night was through, the bride literally took the plunge, hand-in-hand with her bridesmaids, into the nearby pool, dresses and all.

Mollie worked very hard to make sure her Military Georgia wedding with Brandon was every bit special and unique. The couple put their own touches into everything. From Mollie's bright smile to the golden shimmer on Brandon's uniform, their personalities definitely shined. Congratulations to these two!
