Oak Glen California Wedding
Oak Glen California Wedding.
On a bright, sunny day, Samantha and Rodrigo were wed at Serendipity Garden Weddings in Oak Glen, California. Their ceremony was sweet and sentimental and was feted with an elegant reception full of mountain views. Although much of the wedding decor spoke to the location, it’s their beautiful life together that inspired the most special details.
Serendipity Garden Weddings is tucked away in the mountains of Oak Glen, where the picturesque landscape stretches as far as the eye can see.
From the outset, guests knew this wedding would be a touching event thanks to the couple’s precious invitation suite.
Samantha’s bridal style was understated elegance. She wore a strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline, lace bodice, silk waistband and A-line skirt.
The bride got ready with her bridesmaids at the venue’s bridal suite. She completed her look with comfortable gold flats, stud earrings and a long veil.
Samantha took photos with her bridal party before the ceremony, where bridesmaids donned long blush pink dresses and carried bouquets with roses and silver dollar eucalyptus.
Rodrigo looked handsome in a navy blue suit with a white tie and white rose boutonniere. His groomsmen matched in navy suits and a cute ring bearer wore a white button down shirt and shorts.
The couple offered guests white parasols and fans to cool them from the sun during the ceremony.
Guests descended upon the ceremony spot overlooking Oak Glen’s mountains, where barrels flanked both sides of the aisle and white flowers were used throughout the design.
The ring bearer pulled the couple’s adorable daughter/flower girl in a personalized wagon down the aisle before the bride made her appearance.
Samantha and Rodrigo joined hands under the floral-embellished pergola to exchange vows and say “I do.” Their picture-perfect ceremony was sealed with a kiss where they were officially pronounced husband and wife.
After the ceremony, the new Mr. and Mrs. took time for photos, both alone and with their loving bridal party. Samantha removed her veil and joined her new husband in some of the venue’s most photo-worthy spots, including this serene waterfall.
The reception was held on the venue’s patio overlooking the valley. A stone fireplace, large dance floor and natural elements tie in the Southern California landscape in a rustic, romantic way.o
Round reception tables greeted guests as they found their seats. Each table was furnished with a plush white floral centerpiece and elegant table numbers.
The couple’s sweetheart table was idyllic with its simple place settings and shabby chic chair signs.
Using the wedding’s blush pink hue as inspiration, the three-tier wedding cake featured a clean, wrapping technique and the simple placement of pink roses.
As the sun began to set in Oak Glen, the trees and mountains around the venue began to gleam with a golden hue.
Samantha and Rodrigo were completely giddy as they shared their first dance as husband and wife. Even though all eyes were on them, they clearly only had eyes—and laughs— for each other.
It comes as no surprise that Samantha and Rodrigo chose Serendipity Garden Weddings for their wedding day: it’s warm, inviting and shows off the best of what Southern California has to offer. It was a day full of celebration and new beginnings, both for them as husband and wife, and for their sweet family.
