Olde Mill Inn New Jersey Real Wedding
Olde Mill Inn New Jersey real wedding. Christina and Don's wedding day featured a lot of blue. One thing that never turned blue was their joyous attitudes, despite the uncooperative weather. The New Jersey couple started their day at the Olde Mill Inn before heading over to the gorgeous and grand Church of the Assumption. This lovely pair didn't let a few sprinkles dampen their spirits one bit as they embraced the weather and took hold of their special day. Christina had a penchant for pink peonies. The first place they were included was in the invitation suite. The pretty pastels matched perfectly with the peony designs for a soft and romantic glimpse into the big day.
Christina didn't hold back the glamour for her bridal look. Her accessories included a statement necklace, sparkling peep toe heels and a dress with delicate lace.
Her gown had a sweetheart neckline with a fitted bodice and flared skirt. The low back was a stunning surprise and was accentuated with her cathedral-length veil. She finished getting ready at the Olde Mill Inn and made her way to the church.
Christina's dad walked her down the tiled center-aisle to greet Don at the altar. Don looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo with a white shirt and black bowtie. The impressive church featured bold colors, high ceilings and lots of light and was the perfect location for this couple’s nuptials.
After the ceremony, the rain started to fall. Ever the faithful husband, Don grabbed an umbrella and helped his bride to their next stop the Frelinghuysen Arboretum, where the bridal party snapped some photos.
Bridesmaids in royal blue dresses of all styles and silhouettes held pink bouquets as they linked arm-in-arm with the groomsmen, who were wearing black tuxedoes, blue vests and black bowties. The couple remained in the center, smiling and laughing amongst their best group of friends.
Before the rain started coming down, the groomsmen were able to get some group shots. Don stands out from the bunch with a white boutonniere and black ensemble but collectively, the black, white and pink color scheme coordinated well.
With the bride in white and the bridesmaids in blue, this group was bright and beautiful! Laughing and chatting, the ladies looked gorgeous in the outdoor arboretum.
The couple was also able to get a few solo shots, as well. Don is cool and casual, while Christina beams in her white dress with a blooming white tree behind her.
Back at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum, the couple took a few more photos together before entering the ceremony. The dress is on full display in the first shot, showing the beautiful flared skirt and detail on the bodice, as Christina looks lovingly at her new husband.
And to really show off the impressive veil, Don dipped his bride as the veil caught the breeze.
The ballroom sparkled for Christina and Don's reception. Round reception tables were decked out with white linens and tall centerpieces filled with the prettiest of pink flowers and glass balls with orchids inside.
The pink and blue color scheme continued throughout the reception. The couple's cake had three round tiers with one square tier at the base. Each layer was completely different, either in shape or style. The couple personalized it with their initial and a playful cake topper, all while still incorporating pink peonies.
Christina and Don shared their first dance under a shimmering chandelier and in front of a spotlight with their loved ones gathered around. They performed a choreographed dance to Nat King Cole L.O.V.E. which had every guest clapping and cheering.
Before the cake cutting, Christina surprised everyone by changing into a pink dress! The fun and flirty design featured lots of pleated fabric with an asymmetrical skirt. It was just another way to add a pop of color and an extra unforgettable element to an already unforgettable day.
Christina and Don's wedding day was classic mixed with surprise. A beautiful ceremony gave way to a fancy, yet fun reception for an unbelievable couple who are certainly full of love and life. No matter the weather, they're perfect together.
