Palm Springs CA Real Wedding
Palm Springs CA Real Wedding. Devon and Matt met at a Western festival through a mutual friend and after four years of BBQs, ski weekends, adventure travel, two moves, a flood, too much grad school, and lots of laughter and love, the two became engaged. They wanted their Palm Springs wedding at the Riviera Hotel to feel like a rustic garden party and they achieved it through a unique mix of flowers, fruit, and fun.
Devon is a California girl at heart. This blonde beauty wore a strapless, and flattering, fit-and-flare gown with a stunning hair embellishment. She accessorized with a red lip and seamless all-white bouquet.
Matt embraced the gold wedding color and wore a gold tie with his handsome navy blue suit. He met Devon outside at the Wexler lawn for a first look moment before the ceremony.
After their first look, they were joined by their bridal party for more photos.
Devon's bridesmaids wore various styles of blush dresses and the gorgeous group took photos with the San Jacinto mountains behind them.
Joined by the groom and his groomsmen, the group even had a little fun with some shades.
The outdoor ceremony and reception took place where the couple had their first look. Devon was escorted down the aisle to the white gazebo where Matt was waiting.
They said "I do" with lit golden Moroccan lanterns behind them and a canopy of string lights above, all while being surrounded by a large and verdant hedge.
Dark wooden farm tables featured similar golden lanterns, flower arrangements with blush and white roses, white napkins, and gold chargers.
Every place setting was dotted with a tangerine that featured a leaf place tag for a welcome pop of color.
The cake table was arranged under the gazebo. A white three-tiered ruffled cake had a small garden rose embellishment and sat on a golden stand between two trays of cupcakes and tangerine decor.
The entire night-through the dance floor adjacent to the tables stayed packed. Dancing under the stars was a dream come true for Devon and Matt.
This wedding had California written all over it. From the desert climate to the laidback atmosphere, Devon and Matt put together their ideal wedding with a unique mix of added touches. Citrus, style, and sunshine were all they needed to go from engaged couple to Mr. and Mrs.
