Radius Church Styled Wedding Shoot
Radius Church Styled Wedding Shoot. Inspiration can come from anywhere. This shoot was dreamed up by a simple sampling of olive green velvet. The luxurious and rich fabric, with its stirring color, lead designers to an old midcentury church. Its peeling paint and abandoned, time-worn façade only added to the beautiful and ceremonial spirit. Nature’s neutral is green; therefore, an invitation suite featuring white and black pair perfectly with the shoot’s statement hue. Shabby chic details like casually arranged bouquets and faux fur rugs are just a few of the unique and clever additions brought into the space.
The bride wears a gorgeous ivory beaded dress with a high illusion neckline.
She first rests in an olive green leather chair before grabbing a velvet cape.
The church has so many superb locations from which to shoot. The bride is seen in front of a gorgeous wrought-iron fence with the church’s grand brick exterior in the background.
A simple wooden reception table with contemporary-styled chairs is set in the courtyard.
White and gold dinnerware and gold-rimmed glasses dress up the table’s appearance alongside gold candlesticks and unusually tall white tapers.
The bride explores the property and channels her beauty in various scenes.
From the shadows of the church’s archways to the front doors, the blonde-haired beauty is radiant in front of the neutral backgrounds.
A sweet note to end on includes green-frosted cakes. These three desserts, each set on a different cake stand, has a light green appearance with sugar-dusted berries on top.
It’s amazing and moving to see how one piece of velvet can lead to a creative and stylish affair. The olive color and accompanying décor created an experience enveloped in midcentury charm, a look we're certain to see much more of in weddings to come.
