Romantic Blush Wedding
Romantic Blush Wedding. Alex and Dustin’s wedding in Emerald Isle, N.C., was a romantic, blush-filled event. From the florals to the table settings and everywhere in between, the romantic hue was ever-present. And the tasteful style was kicked up a notch thanks to the guests – who all wore ball gowns and tuxedos.
The Watson House was bright and beautiful on the day of their wedding. Elegance radiated from every corner with hints of blush pink and gold.
Alex wore a strapless mermaid gown with a traditional veil and statement earrings. She carried a picture-perfect blush pink bouquet that echoed the romance of the day.
Her beautiful bridesmaids beamed in long blush pink halter gowns, stunning updos, and all-white bouquets.
Dustin was the epitome of debonair. He wore a classic black tuxedo, complete with a polka dot bow tie and white pocket square.
His groomsmen made for a handsome bunch in their black tuxedos and long black ties. They were eager to stand by Dustin's side.
The ceremony took place under a white floral arbor dressed with crystal beading. The scene was set overlooking the water and guests took their seats in church pews placed under towering trees.
When Dustin laid eyes on his bride for the first time walking down the aisle, the expression on his face was heartwarming.
Alex was escorted down the flower-strewn aisle to her awaiting groom.
In front of family and friends, they made their promises to one another and sealed their vows with a kiss.
When they exited the ceremony, they took their first photos as husband and wife. They stood in front of the entrance to their ceremony – a set of vintage double-doors with the letters "A" and "D" displayed in beautiful fashion. And they also took in the beautiful scenery that encompasses Emerald Isle.
The reception was a brilliant display of a myriad of blush and gold décor. From charming bicycles to vintage bird cages, the accents were charming, yet sophisticated.
The reception featured a mix of open air seating, a tented area and a sunroom-style porch. Guests dined at long natural tables outside, and pink sequin-covered round tables inside. Heaps of blush and white flowers adorned every table top for a soft and romantic vibe.
Under the luminous white tent, Alex and Dustin took their first dance as husband wife, completely enveloped in each other's arms.
Their wedding cake was a classic creation. The five-tier cake featured a lovely lattice design and the couple's personalized monogram in gold. It was topped with a small bunch of roses and made the perfect focal point in front of the venue's brick fireplace.
At the end of the evening, Alex and Dustin shared one last kiss between a flurry of sparklers, signing off on a memorable day with their family and friends on each side.
Alex and Dustin brought the romance to Emerald Isle in their blush-filled dream wedding. The sun beamed, guests dazzled, and everyone rejoiced for the bride and groom on this splendid day at The Watson House. ~ Romantic Blush Wedding
