Rondthaler Gramley House Winston Salem NC Wedding
When planning a wedding there is so much planning that goes into selecting the venues. You may wonder what is the big deal? Isn't it just a place to exchange your vows or just a place for a party afterward? Well, it is extremely important and it can really make or break your day. When Deborah and Richard tied the knot in Winston Salem, North Carolina, you could not help but be blown away by the church. It was simply a magnificent edifice. They got married at the St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. It was first built in 1929, however, the church's history dates back to 1880. The long aisles and stained glass windows are simply amazing. Now, when you get married in an incredible location, it just makes you stand out as well. Deborah wore a simply stunning strapless gown. It was a simple satin dress with layers but it was very unique. She complemented it with pearls which were perfect and pearl earrings. Richard wore a tuxedo, tie and vest. They made such a handsome couple. Â Â
Their reception venue was also special as well. They had their reception at the Rondhaler-Gramley House at Salem College. The school was first established in 1772 by the Moravians because they felt that girls deserved an education just like the boys. It began granting college degrees in 1890. Currently, it is known as the oldest women's college in the nation. Even though their nuptials were not over the top, the venue choices simply made their wedding just amazing.
The cake was indicative of this special couple. It was a three tier cake with simple designs along the side. It was not too fancy but it still very nice.
We hope that when you are selecting the location for your wedding and reception, you see that they can make a difference. It isn't just simply a place to get married or have a party. Give it some thought. Select a place that has meaning to you. It will definitely make your day even more special.
