Rustic Alberta Canada Real Wedding by Red Bloom Photography
When you think of western themed nuptials, they are usually very simple and very relaxed, Alana and Derek showed that you can have a rustic feel and also be elegant just by adding a few elements.
The wedding took place in Alberta, Canada. Alana wore a beautiful lace gown with a small train. She wore pearls and drops earrings. It was just enough jewelry to add a nice touch to her ensemble. She looked very elegant. Derek looked very relaxed. He wore a dress shirt, vest but no tie. He looked like a country preacher. The both wore cowboy boots.
The groomsmen did not wear suits either. They wore dress shirts with vests that made them look like a barbershop quartet.
The bridesmaids wore short dresses that showed off their cowboy boots. The bride and her ladies all had bouquets of sunflowers.
They had signs everywhere reflecting the country theme such as cowboy and cowgirl to direct guests to the restrooms. The centerpiece of any wedding day after the bride is always the cake. It was just as original.
It was a three tier cake which is not unusual. But that's where the originality was applied. There were sunflowers around the sides and the topper was so cute. It was a man and woman and the man was kneeling. It was absolutely adorable.
Alana and Derek showed that you can combine a rustic feel and still be somewhat elegant. Just pay attention to the details and select each item to reflect the overall theme. You will have a wedding day that will always be remembered and cherished in your hearts.
