Crooked Creek Ranch Cedar Michigan Wedding. It is so quaint to have a wedding that is very relaxed and comfortable. When Megan and Mike got married in Cedar, Michigan they were able to create this atmosphere not only by their venue choice by also by the decor.

Megan's gown was wonderful. It was strapless without too many details. The waistband was just lovely. She accented this with a bracelet and necklace. Her veil flowed beautifully in the wind behind her. She also wore black shoes which was definitely trendy. Mike wore a three piece suit with a champagne tie. The rest of the bridal party was also great. The brides maids wore short champagne dresses and the grooms men matched Mike.

Their decor was quite unique because some of the items were done by Megan's parents. Her dad made many of the wood pieces used and her mom added a special touch by decorating them. It may seem simple but this will always be a special element that Megan and Mike will never forget.

Besides the items from Megan's parents, the venue also made a more relaxed affair. Mike and Megan tied the knot at Crooked Creek Ranch. It provided the perfect backdrop. There was lake, windmill, horses, greenery and the reception took place in a barn. They even had a vintage pick up truck and bicycle.

At the reception, the centerpiece is always the wedding cake and this one did not disappoint. It was three layers and decorated with flowers on top and on the sides. It was just stunning. They also had other cakes as well. After dark they had strung lights for illumination which definitely provides a more relaxed atmosphere.

As you can see, you can create a theme just by selecting your venue. It will all come together without trying too hard because the elements already exist. Megan's parents added their touches that made the nuptials extra special. Keep all of these things in mind when selecting your venue and you will be able to create the wedding of your dreams.
