Rustix Barn Woodstock GA Wedding
The love story of Jordan and Ethan began on a dock and they found the perfect spot to channel that memory at Rustix Barn in Woodstock, Georgia. Their nature-filled ceremony was bursting at the seams with sentimentality and loving gestures and they followed that up with a sun-filled, fun-filled reception with many memorable moments for all. Why the dock? Each step in Jordan and Ethan’s relationship has involved some kind of body of water and nature, so when the two began planning their big day, they knew it was necessary to continue the tradition for their wedding venue. They first met at Myrtle Beach, had their first date over a four-course meal with dancing under the stars on a friend's lake house dock, and got engaged on the very same dock where the swan scene of The Notebook was filmed!
To kick off their bright, summer wedding, Jordan wore a beautiful lace gown and veil – both of which were custom designed with lace from her mother’s wedding gown. Her cheery bouquet featured blush, yellow, and white roses nestled in a bed of greenery. But nothing could compare to her beaming smile.
Ethan complemented his bride’s style with a crisp navy blue suit, blue bow tie, and brown belt. His rose and hypericum berry boutonniere was the perfect finishing touch.
They chose a first look moment before the ceremony, where else but near the water.
Jordan crept up to her groom and as he turned around and saw her for the first time, he lovingly embraced his beautiful bride.
Jordan used blush for her bridesmaids’ dresses. Each lady wore a long dress in a different style and every bridesmaid carried a bouquet that also included pink roses.
Ethan and his groomsmen all matched in navy blue – an excellent complementary color to the bridesmaids’ blush pink dresses.
Two pretty and petite flower girls were ready to do the best job they could. Each little lady wore a white dress, sandals, and a charming floral crown.
The breeze began to blow and the sun began to drench the backs of the chairs. Guests descended upon the ceremony space set up by the water.
The bride was escorted to the flower-adorned lagoon where she and Ethan exchanged sentimental, heartfelt vows. The emotional and heartwarming ceremony was a gentle reminder about the wonderful relationship the two share and the powerful bonds of marriage.
After the ceremony came the lively reception. An antique door with a unique display helped guests find their seats under the white tent near the Rustix Barn.
Reception tables were outfitted with lace linens and an assortment of wooden chairs for guests. The bride and groom had their seats especially bedecked with hand-painted wooden signs.
The details truly set the reception apart from other parties. Each place setting included a clear plate with the couple’s gold personalization along with an assortment of gold vases and votives to tie it all together.
A dance party ensued under the barn and everyone took a spin on the dance floor. The couple enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife, but it was Jordan and her father’s choreographed dance that stole the show.
The cake was a pretty addition to the summer affair. It featured tiers of white buttercream with a lovely design and was garnished with blush pink roses. Simple but sweet!
Finally, to commemorate the couple’s favorite holiday – Independence Day – everyone was invited out to the water as fireworks streamed through the air, exploding glitter into the night sky.
Jordan and Ethan's Georgia wedding was a summer dream come true. No matter where they go in life, it's certain that the water will never be too far behind. Congratulations, Jordan and Ethan!
