Santorini Sunset Proposal.

Q: Give us all the details about the proposal. How and where did it happen? Was it a surprise? What was the planning process?

A: We’ve been together for about 5 and a half years now, so engagement has been on our minds for probably the last 3 years. I knew it was coming sometime this year, but honestly had no idea when. Anytime we would go on vacation, he would always tell me not to get my hopes up because we weren’t getting engaged on this trip. He, of course, said this before we left for Greece and I honestly believed him. So, when we went out for a photoshoot (normal thing every time we vacation with Kaitlyn!), I honestly thought it was just a normal shoot like we always do. Before we left, he ran back to our room for his “watch” and I was like hmmmm is he really getting his watch or something else?! He got really dressed up for the photos and seemed really nervous so I started getting skeptical on the car ride to where we were doing photos. After a few different poses, Kaitlyn asked us to turn back to back and I thought that was weird but just went with it! Soon after, I heard Zach say my name and when I turned around he was on one knee asking me to marry him. We were literally on top of the cutest little church on the edge of Santorini and I cannot imagine anything more beautiful.

Q: We’re all about the bling… Tell us all about that ring!

A: My ring is so beyond perfect. It’s rose gold with beautiful floral accents and smaller diamonds all around the center stone. I honestly just stare at it all day long and am so thankful for the meaning behind it and the promise that I get to marry my soulmate!
