South of France Travel Photos

South of France Travel Photos.

I recently flew to the South of France and was taken by the pastel colored buildings, tiny inset towns, and appreciation for keeping things just as they are without home owner's association regulations and city ordinances. There's a genuine sense of pride in these stunning little villas as well as an ease of lifestyle that was truly inviting. I stayed in a 17th century chateau in the tiny town of Durfort known for its Rosé. We received local wine deliveries to our front door every morning, fresh from the vineyard, in beautiful carafes that took me to a time when things were much simpler and life was appreciated for that ease. An entire week was spent roaming the cobblestone streets of these sweet little villages, averaging in population of about 200 each. My visit was a gentle reminder to slow down and take care of myself - something every photographer needs to hear from time to time.
