Southern California Elopement

Southern California Elopement. For Texas twosome Cristina and Evan, Wayfarers Chapel, also known as "The Glass Church" in Rancho Palos Verde, Calif., was the dream wedding location. With only 20 people on their guest list, these two made their way to the West Coast to marry on the edge of a cliff and celebrate with an utterly intimate, yet stylish reception.

Cristina channeled a beachy, romantic elegance for her bridal style, starting with a flirty pair of turquoise-colored heels.

Her bouquet was a petite collection of blush garden roses and assorted white flowers all tied with pink ribbons.

Cristina beamed in a beaded mermaid silhouette (of course!) that fit her impeccably. She also wore a classic veil and accessorized with a timeless pearl necklace.

Evan looked dashing in a gray suit with navy blue pocket square, white shirt and navy blue tie.

The chapel was outfitted with exquisite white orchids as the couple and their close group of friends and family gathered for the ceremony.

The imposing windows were an awe-inspiring backdrop for the couple's “I dos.”

After vows, rings and kisses were exchanged, Cristina and Evan hung back inside the chapel for a few photos as newly minted husband and wife.

Hand-in-hand, they made their way down the cliff that overlooks the ocean for some outdoor photos.

A few trusting, blushing friends helped Cristina traverse the path in her gorgeous gown.

This incredibly handsome couple stole the scene on the rocks as they admired the sunset and gave their photographer a host of emotions from which to capture.

And the day wouldn’t be complete without a traditional shot of the bride’s eye-catching ring set.

Seated at a posh family-style table, the couple were surrounded by loved ones as they celebrated with a warm, intimate reception. Soft, glowing lights became more prominent as night fell upon them and they reveled in the beauty of their elopement.

It can be tricky planning a destination elopement but Cristina and Evan knew exactly what they wanted and who to invite. He wanted a church and she wanted a beach. Together, these two planned a picture-perfect day chock full of stunning views that rival even the grandest of events.
