Spring Shores Lodge Idaho Styled Wedding Shoot
Spring Shores Lodge Idaho styled wedding shoot. Check out the Raleigh Wedding Show for inspiration for North Carolina brides. When you think of a fabulous fall wedding, vivid colors come to mind. But with a chic, unorthodox slant to style, black can be intriguing and ingenious incorporation. This styled shoot at the Spring Shores Lodge in Idaho spawns feelings of warmth, ardor, and fascination.
The invitation suite sets this shoot afire with its combination of black, gold and purple. Stylish fonts and bold stripes paired with print and real floral details are smart and tasteful.
The bride's bouquet foreshadows the fantastic flower arrangements for this shoot. Hearty leaves, ferns, and thistle in deep purples and greens collect around white and blush roses. The entire bouquet is tied with a black satin ribbon.
The groom is mesmerizing leaned up against a wooden beam in the venue. A black suit and crisp white shirt looks debonair with a boutonniere to match the bouquet. An ominous black and gold cake sits in the background.
The bride wears a high fashion black wedding gown. It features thin beaded straps and a sweetheart neckline; however, the skirt is the showstopper. Its mixture of floral ruffles with white blossoms made of tulle is dramatic and different. She completes the look with large statement earrings and a classic updo.
Golden aspens surround the venue and the bride and groom trek through the trees to find an exquisite tablescape.
A long dark wooden table displays a black and white striped runner, large white pillar candles, tall candelabras, and a large centerpiece in a black vase. Purple artichokes make a natural and nifty addition.
Another variation to the tablescape includes using one tall candelabra with a center floral arrangement, with clear vases on each side and a sequined black tablecloth with black chivari chairs.
The cake table echoes the sequined table linen. Two stunning cakes offer completely different looks for dessert. The first features three layers, one gold and two black, with a white floral decal on the top two layers and a beautiful cake topper. The second has four tiers each covered with layers of fondant in alternating black and gold with a smaller cake topper.
The bride accessorizes her dress a couple of different ways. In the woods, she grabs a black faux-fur stole to cover her shoulders and provide warmth. At the ceremony space, she returns to the bare-shouldered look but covers her hair and face with a thin layer of black netting.
A ceremony at this venue would be transformative with a canopy of hanging lights with branches adorning the top and black fabric draped down the side.
Black chivari chairs create an aisle that is lined with candles and flowers.
The spirit of Idaho emanates through this shoot with the awe-inspiring landscape and endless horizon. The venue offers many spots in which to capture the essence of the environment, whether it's in the woods, in the lodge or at a weather-worn fence amidst the tall grass.
Although the sparkle-factor couldn't possibly increase any more, the night ends on a high note with a beautiful sparkler send-off between bride and groom in front of the newly-renovated lodge. The inclusion of various types of light creates an ethereal feeling.
The captivating combination between light and dark, simple and sophisticated, regal and romantic creates a dynamic and re-defined impression of fall.
