Surprise Italy Proposal.

Francesco flew in the day before our scheduled session with the ring. He was so nervous about losing it, he refused to put it in the hotel safe and instead brought it to dinner with us. Together the 3 of us enjoyed pizza and wine with the ring in his pocket. We had an early night as we had planned for a sunrise couples session the next morning.

We woke up, got ready and called a cab to take us to the bridge. It was magical. The bridge was practically empty besides a few runners and landscape photographers. We were able to grab the perfect spot and I posed them together and then separately, saying they needed a few good headshots. I used a prompt which had both Ayla and Francesco to stand back to back, so they couldn't see each other. I would ask a question and they both had to answer at the same time and turn around. So after the second time I said, we are going to do this a little differently, Francesco will ask the next question and you turn around, and then it'll be your turn Ayla to ask the question. 

So as Ayla turned around, Francesco dropped to one knee and asked, "Will you marry me?" Ayla turned around and was SO SURPRISED. You can see how bewildered she is in the initial photo, but it was the sweetest thing to capture and to help plan. They embraced and celebrated, called their parents from the bridge and we continued to take photos!

They are getting married in Southern Italy at Castello Monachi in August 2019.
