Sweetwater Branch Inn Wedding. In Gainesville, Florida, there is a gem of an historic wedding venue, aptly named Sweetwater Branch Inn, and it’s where Monica and Brad just knew they wanted to get married. And with a venue as sweet as it is charming, their special day was filled with pretty pinks, ample greenery, and endless laughter from the bride and groom.
This charming venue was definitely a source of inspiration when it came to the invitation suite. A classic set of white parchment pieces with elegant, curling script set the tone for the event.
Monica wore sparkling silver shoes under the hem of her lace A-line gown, complete with an illusion back. Her mother and bridesmaids helped her step into the beautiful creation, and affixed her long veil in her intricate updo.
The bride and groom chose to have a first look before the ceremony at the Thomas Center. She stood under a shade tree clutching her romantic bouquet while awaiting the groom.
Brad wore a dark gray suit with a blush pink tie to match the color palette.
After one look, the laughter ensued. Monica took her fiance's arm and together they walked around and bathed in the gentle sunlight before joining up with their bridal party.
The photos continued with Monica's bridesmaids by her side in long blush dresses with clean pleated skirts and Brad's groomsmen sporting navy blue suits. It's a timeless color combination.
Monica was escorted down the stone pathway to Brad, who stood under the columns of the inn. The columns were sprayed with greenery and white roses for a soft and elegant touch.
Guests celebrated the couple with a glowing cocktail hour and reception following the ceremony. Bistro lights, pink flowers, and gold décor were in ample abundance, illuminating the inn with color and warmth.
Monica and Brad made quite an entrance upon greeting their guests. They were excited to cut into their classic white wedding cake, decorated with thin layers of fondant and garnished with pink and white roses.
Since 1885, the Sweetwater Branch Inn has been entertaining guests and it's easy to see why. Brad and Monica's wedding day was charming, bright, and full of love. Their affection for one another was palpable with every step, highlighted by the sweetness of this perfect location.
