Sydney New South Wales Australia Real Wedding

It is so challenging to find a venue that combines both breathtaking beauty and history. Usually historical places are very classic. Rachael and Luke got married at Wylies Baths in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, which definitely has a lot of history and provided a wonderful backdrop for their nuptials. Wylies Bath was established in 1907 by Henry Alexander Wylie, a champion long distance and underwater swimmer. It was one of the first mixed gender bathing pools in Australia. Over the years it has been damaged and closed but it still remains. The Baths are a part of the first public recreation facilities in the Coogee area. In 1994, a major renovation was undertaken. They modernized it but took special care to retain the historical integrity of the original facility. It just provided the most fantastic backdrop before, during and after the ceremony. It was just as beautiful at night as it was during the day.

Rachael wore a wonderful sleeveless white gown. It wasn't elaborate or ornate but it was still beautiful. She wore her hair in a bun without lots of jewelry. Her bridesmaids were also dressed simply. They had short blue dresses with white jackets. It was a nice ensemble. The men were definitely dressed uniquely since they were wearing kilts. Now, you certainly do not see that at every wedding.

As you can see, you can have historical and breathtaking. It all depends on the location of the venue. Do a little research where you want to have your wedding and see if you can find a unique spot that you can add a little historical significance to your day. It will make your wedding day even more special.
