The Big Fake Wedding Houston
Wedding Houston at the Big Fake wedding had attendees swooning in its “European Sky” theme. This bridal show alternative offered future brides and their loved ones a chance to see how elegance can be achieved by local vendors. And the real life bride and groom were the perfect couple to be the centerpiece of this stunning, luxurious event. From the outset, the invitation suite featured a palette of light blue, gold, and pink for a high-fashion preview of what was to come.
The bride looked regal in a strapless lace A-line gown and show-stopping statement necklace. She carried a bouquet with contrasting light and dark colored blooms, all tied with a floral ribbon.
Instead of a traditional dark tux, the groom wore a gorgeous khaki-colored suit with a light blue bow tie. His groomsman sported a black tux with polka dot bow tie and matching pocket square.
The bridesmaids wore short black dresses and modern statement necklaces, as well. However, their bouquets were unlike any other with loads of dusty miller, golden crespedia, and roses, with touches of embellishments.
The event took place at Noah’s Event Venue in Houston that offers a beautiful wedding location for any budget and any taste.
Inside, tables stretched from wall to wall with endless elegance to behold. Each was set with a different look and theme to bring various ideas to life.
Tall centerpieces, vintage blue vases, shimmering table linens, succulents and birdcages were all brought in to show how different interpretations of the European Sky theme can be presented.
The head table featured a light blue linen with hydrangea arrangements and clear candelabras, as well as a pair of ornate high-back chairs for the bride and groom.
There were many delicious dessert options. The showpiece was an elaborate multi-tiered cake with various looks on each layer. Black, light blue, and gold were incorporated in this dynamic design.
A dessert bar was also set up to meet the many tastes of attendees. Cake pops, macaroons, tarts, and cupcakes were served up to tame any sweet tooth.
The ceremony took place in front of three modern-cut panels and a white mantle dripping with greenery and candles.
In front of the crowd, the couple renewed their vows a step up above the audience to give everyone a great view.
After the ceremony, the mantle was removed and the couple enjoyed a dance in the same spot where it all took place.
Attendees enjoyed the music from a local band and danced the night away under a fabric-draped ceiling glowing with gentle light.
The couple left all smiles. Attendees left inspired. And vendors left pleased with their participation in the Big Fake Wedding Houston. To put it simply – the event was a dream come true.
