Barkley House Pensacola Florida Wedding. What can we say? Monicca and Eric really had a wedding that was unique and personal. It had their individual stamp all over it. When they tied the knot in Pensacola, Florida, they deviated from the norm in many ways.
First, let's look at the gown. It is very unique and different. It is white but that is where the similarity to the traditional stops. There is material on the shoulders that gives it an exotic look. It is tight fitting to flatter Monicca's figure with a V neck. Her hair is pulled back loosely in a style that is relaxed and dressy simultaneously. Her earrings are amazing and complete the outfit.
Eric wore a suit and tie but the rest of the bridal party looked very unique.
The brides maid wore an assortment of short dresses. It went from dressy to casual but it created a wonderful look.
The grooms men wore dress shirts, khakis and ties.
But the ensembles were not the only unique features of this wedding. They had a map for people to indicate where they came from, they had a glass that had the names of the bride and groom and they put the drink selection on a chalkboard. The reception also had its special elements
The guests found out where they sat by a board with the table assignments.
They opted not to have a wedding cake. Instead they had a cupcake tower with an assortment of flavors. But they kept one tradition. They had a bride and groom on top of the cupcakes. The tower was so attractive and it was very trendy.
Eric and Monicca picked a wonderful venue for their unique wedding. They tied the knot at the Barkley House in Pensacola. It is one of the oldest masonry houses in Florida and was originally constructed by George Barkley between 1825 and 1830. It not only overlooks Pensacola Bay but provided a great backdrop for these nuptials. The natural props such the house itself, the trees, the swing fit perfectly with the relaxed feel of this wedding.
If you are planning your wedding, think outside of the box a little. You can have elements of tradition but also be unique. Strive to be different as you plan your big day and you could surprise yourself. Whatever you decide, don't be confined by the norm and let your imagination run wild. You will create memories for a lifetime.
