Rustic Frederick Maryland Real Wedding

A blind date turned into a happily ever after for Gretchen and Phillip – and this stunning couple chose two historical sites in Frederick for their wedding and reception locations. The outdoor ceremony was held at the Frederick Historical Society, while the beautiful reception took place in The Visitation Academy. So many personal touches were included in their special day and gave the wedding a truly unique feel.

Gretchen wore a beautiful handmade gown with vintage lace detail, and her vibrant bouquet – filled with purple, orange and deep pink -- was just so lovely! The bridesmaids wore different colored dresses and carried equally vibrant flowers down the aisle.

The menu featured options for all of the guests – so no one was left out of enjoying delicious bites to eat – not only were the dishes varied, but guests had three options for cake; gluten-free, vegan and traditional.

Shawls were handed out in case guests got cold, which is an amazing idea for outdoor weddings, especially in the evening. Gretchen and Phillip truly put every effort to create a welcoming environment for the guests – and they succeeded wonderfully!
