Littleton Colorado Real Wedding by Brinton Studios
Littleton Colorado Real Wedding. You really love the pomp and circumstances of a traditional wedding. You just know what you want at each point of the day because you have had dreams about it your entire life. But you are also a modern woman and like current fashion. When Shelby and Bryan tied the knot in Littleton, Colorado, they were able to combine modern and traditional. First and foremost, their venue selection was amazing. They got married at the Manor House. The mansion was originally built by John Shaffer, the late editor-publisher of the Chicago Tribune. It was constructed in 1914 at a cost of $100,000 on the highest spot of the 3500 acres so it would have a 360 degree view. Over the years, the 8,000 square foot property has hosted guests such as Presidents Theodore Roosevelt and William Howard Taft. It is now a venue for weddings and parties. The majesty of the home as well as the grounds provided the perfect backdrop for this wedding.
Shelby gown was stunning. She had a strapless dress with a wide skirt that simply flowed as she walked. Her long veil and train were very traditional. We just love the jeweled waistband. As she and Bryan exchanged their vows, they had the wonderful mountains behind them.
But we said this was a traditional yet modern wedding. They had an incredible dessert table with numerous treats which is definitely a departure from having just a wedding cake at the reception. They also had a photo booth which is a trendy detail.
Last but not least, their guests said good bye to them using sparklers. It was simply beautiful at this magnificent venue as they lit up the area.
As you can see, you can have your cake and eat it too. If you can't decide between a traditional or modern wedding, Shelby and Bryan showed that you don't have to choose. You have to pick the right venue and then include the right elements. It can be done by just choosing wisely and being creative in your planning. You can have it all. You can have the wedding that you imagined in your dreams.
